Mr. and Mrs. Mason

Weddings

Friends and family began to trickle in from the kitchen. The living room, dining room, and stairs started to fill with guests. The Aduccis’ home was decorated with beautiful details here and there for the celebration. Katrina and Kenneth hadn’t originally planned for their wedding reception to be at her parents’ house, but it was a stunning and beautiful day nonetheless. In the foyer of the home where she grew up, Katrina stood facing her new husband, Kenneth. This was one of the moments Katrina had been looking forward to for a while. Kenneth was tasked with picking the song for their first dance. Now, surrounded by their family and friends, Kenneth called for the attention of everyone in the room.

Kenneth, speaking to Katrina while we all listened, told her that they had heard this song the night he proposed, and that he knew from that moment that this was the song to which he wanted to dance with her at their wedding. Dan and Shay’s My Side of the Fence started to play and Katrina immediately burst into tears. As she wrapped her arms around him, she asked, “When did we hear this?” Kenneth responded, “When we were leaving Walmart,” and at that the entire room burst out into laughter.

Katrina and Kenneth, you two are fabulous for so many reasons. You are lighthearted, fun, and welcoming, but you are also compassionate, faithful, and thoughtful. No wonder you were surrounded by so many fantastic people for your wedding—despite COVID restrictions! Amy’s not sure if she’s ever captured so many emotions within a single minute as she did while Katrina opened her letter and present from Kenneth, and neither of us have ever seen more cake in a person’s nose than Kenneth’s after the cake smash. We were laughing for days after your wedding, and we are so excited to continue celebrating your marriage with even more friends and family in September.

We love you guys!
