Mr. and Mrs. Rulon

Weddings

The warm sun shone in the room. Ann was the picture of beauty. Surrounding her were her mother, sister, and future mother-in-law. They all helped to button the back of her dress and ensured everything lay the way it was supposed to. Ann was beaming and let out the most beautiful laughter at the looks and comments directed at her. The joy was so tangible in the room.

This was a continuous theme throughout Ann and Alex’s wedding day. The two of them came together as a couple, but their families came together, too. Alex’s mother, Michelle, made the alterations on Ann’s wedding dress and helped her into it, Ann wore her grandmother’s earrings, their bridal party contained family members among their friends, the fathers of the couple requested a photo together, and the dance floor filled with everyone dancing side by side, enjoying the night. It was such a joyful day, and it was clear that everyone was participating in the celebration. Once you see their families, it was plain to see how Ann and Alex became the amazing people that they are.

Ann and Alex, your wedding day brought us so much joy. We loved celebrating your new marriage and thought all of the details and plans of the day were relaxed, timeless, and beautiful. Father David’s homily was so inspiring and the Mass he celebrated was beautiful. We loved how he pointed out the faithfulness of your family and friends. It’s important to note such a tremendous blessing and to be aware of the community supporting you. Lean on those people throughout your marriage. Count on their example, support, and prayers. Marriage is such a beautiful gift, but it has a slight learning curve, so the examples of faithful marriage surrounding you will be a great help as you learn to live your vocation well! We know the Lord is going to supply you with everything you need, and we’re excited to keep in touch and see how He blesses you and your new family down the road.

Love,
Amy and Kyle
