Our first priority has always been our family. God has used our photography business to serve fellow Catholics in different capacities throughout the years, and sometimes we are more available to photograph than others. Brides and grooms usually use consultations to figure out which vendors they want to hire for their wedding day, and we are doing the same thing! Since our family is our priority, we only want to devote time away from our family for the right people. From our consultation call with Dom and Tim, we knew they were the right people!
Kyle had a work meeting that should have ended in time for our conversation with Dom and Tim, but it didn’t. Amy ended up moving forward with the consultation alone. From our conversation, a few things became clear. Dom and Tim had Christ in the center of their lives, and that’s what brought the two of them together. They relied on the intercession of St. Therese to find one another, and she is a saint of great importance to our family, too. They were excited about planning their wedding, but their focus was on the important things: starting their marriage and life together. As Dom mentioned that they were talking to a couple of other photographers, Amy silently thought, “No! Pick us!”
There is a wonderfully intimate relationship that develops between couples and their photographers. Just because we are both Catholic doesn’t guarantee that we’re going to hit it off and be a good fit to work with one another throughout the day. Dom and Tim were so easy to chat with and it felt like a natural fit. They were people we wanted to be friends with, not simply clients we wanted to serve.
Dom and Tim, from our limited time spent with you so far, we imagine most people feel this way about you! You are both easygoing, present, calm, and comfortable to be around. Even navigating the hiccups surrounding your engagement session, like rescheduling twice due to weather and then having Winnie join us for your session. Life is seldom what we think, so having these easygoing characteristics will help you greatly in life! We are so happy you chose us to be your wedding photographers and we are so excited to celebrate with you in October!
