Emmitsburg is a holy place. Pilgrims come from far and wide to visit our two national shrines, pray at the tomb of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and take in the history of the area. It’s a wonderful place to visit and pray, and it makes sense that Michelle and Pawel would want to come here to begin their married life, which they will in July! If you want to tell a beautiful story, you cannot take God out of it.
In addition to their wedding, Michelle and Pawel also chose Emmitsburg as the location for their engagement session. These choices are symbolic of how these two have steeped their entire relationship in truth and eternity. This was evident to us when they were telling us about all of the wedding tasks that were complicated for one reason or another, but despite these challenges, these two had a deep trust that everything would work out.
Michelle and Pawel, we enjoyed the time we spent with you, and we’re so happy that you’re in our lives! When you first inquired with us, we were excited to hear from a local couple. We didn’t anticipate all of the grace that would come from the decision to take your wedding on, such as our reflections on how a holy place changes the events and people in it. We are praying for you, and can’t wait to see how God writes the next chapter of your story.
In Christ,
Amy and Kyle
