The fresh spring sun shone down brightly on the fields as we arrived for Mary and Thomas’s engagement session. Although spring was in the air, the winter chill had not yet left. The day held the promise of warmer weather right around the corner, just like engagement holds the promise of marriage and family. Seasons of waiting abound.
Despite the chill in the air, it wasn’t hard for either Mary or Thomas to smile and laugh throughout their session. They have a contagious joy about them that is amplified by their being in one another’s company. Proverbs 17:22 says, “A cheerful heart is a good medicine.” Being around Mary and Thomas for their engagement session made our hearts very cheerful, indeed. Those who know them and spend time with them on a daily basis are truly blessed.
Mary and Thomas, we are grateful that you’ve chosen us to be the photographers for your wedding day! We love seeing how different couples serve the Church in their own unique ways. You both have such warmth and joy about you, and we’re sure that God will use those gifts to bless those who surround you. We’re praying for you leading up to your wedding day and beyond.
